Description
I think that something of the impact on me of the documentary, Cave of Forgotten Dreams comes through this painting and two others in the series. The film documented the recently discovered, amazing 35,000 year old cave drawings in Chauvet, France -- the oldest thus far discovered. But my hope is for each person to touch in to his/her own impressions, memories, feelings.
The original is no longer available. Watermark does not appear on any reproductions.

Love this Mary! When I read the tile, i expected browns as the central color.... when the painting loaded up on the screen and all the color popped, I was pleasently surprised! I love the colors you chose ~~~ I believe history is a living echo in the right hands. You really made this new discovery live for me! V/F
